Caesar Creek water level to drop 10 feet

CAESAR CREEK TWP., Ohio (WDTN) – The Ohio Department of Natural Resources plans to lower the level of Caesar Creek Lake in Warren County.

They want to drop it 10 feet to do an archaeological study for a marina construction project.

The study is necessary to get all the permits necessary to begin construction.

The US Army Corps of Engineers hopes to begin Tuesday, January 21 at a rate of eight inches a day.  It should be complete by February 5.

The new marina will be one of the largest of its kind in southwest Ohio.
