Cop’s wife guilty of child endangering

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio (WDTN) – A Springfield police officer’s wife pleaded guilty to child endangering.

Three children were pulled from Lieutenant Noel Lopez’s home in November after investigators say they found the family living in deplorable conditions.

2 NEWS confirmed Tuesday that Kimberly Lopez pleaded guilty to one count of child endangering while two other counts were dropped.

She was sentenced to 12 months probation and was ordered to take parenting classes.
