Habitat for Humanity announces merger

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Two local chapters of Habitat for Humanity are teaming up.

The Greene County and Dayton chapters will combine resources and staff.

The new group will also have a new name.  They are now known as the Habitat for Humanity of Greater Dayton.

Officials say the merger will allow more homeownership opportunities in the area.
