Sprinkler damage at 2 Springboro schools

SPRINGBORO, Ohio (WDTN) – The extreme cold is catching the blame for sprinkler malfunctions at two Springboro schools.

School leaders say Springboro High School and Dennis Elementary are affected.

Sprinkler systems at both schools malfunctioned causing damage to some classrooms.

Four rooms in the high school are damaged.  The extent of damage at Dennis Elementary is enough to cancel classes Wednesday.

The district says it will hold classes at the high school Wednesday,
