Storm Team 2 Forecast

There is a Winter Weather Advisory in effect for the entire Miami Valley until Sunday at 10 p.m.  Snow will begin to overspread the region tonight and continue through Sunday.  Warmer air will lift northward for a time early Sunday changing some of the snow over to rain.

Snowfall amounts will range between three and five inches north of I-70 to one to three inches south of I-70.  Some spots north of I-70 may pick up an isolated six inch snowfall amount.  The snow will be wet and heavy.  There may be a little break in the precipitation during the afternoon but it will pick up again and change back to all snow during the evening.

SUNDAY: Cloudy with snow in the morning, mixing with or changing to rain mainly south of I-70 into the afternoon.  Accumulations will be between 3-5″ with heavier amounts north of I-70.  High 34

SUNDAY NIGHT: Any rain changes back over to snow.  Low 20

MONDAY: Mostly sunny.  High 30

By Monday high pressure builds across the area bringing lots of sunshine to the area.  Warmer air along with the possibility for heavier rain heads this way on Tuesday.
