Arctic high pressure settles over the region tonight easing our winds, clearing the skies and allowing for a frigid start to Friday. Sunshine will start the day on Friday, but we will see some increase in afternoon clouds with temperatures remaining cold.

After a cold finish to the week, we will see temperatures moderate a bit over the weekend with highs near 40 each day. We will continue the warming trend into next week with highs by mid-week possibly reaching the 50s.
