Greenville runaway accused in robbery

GREENVILLE, Ohio (WDTN) – A Greenville runaway is accused of robbing a convenient store.

Police say the Circle Mart at 100 East Main Street was robbed at 6:30 am Thursday.

They arrested one suspect at a North Main Street address.  Another suspect, a 17 year old teenager, fled.  He was arrested after a short chase.  Turns out he was a reported missing runaway.

Officers served a search warrant at the Main Street address and found cash and cigarettes believed to be stolen from the store.

Charges are currently pending against the suspects.  The teen is being held in juvenile detention.
