Kettering police make arrest for rash of air conditioner thefts

KETTERING, Ohio (WDTN) – Kettering police want residents in the Neighborhood Watch program to rest assured that an air conditioner theft suspect is under arrest.

Officers arrested Peter Mosher, 36, at a residence on Acorn Drive.

Investigators believe he is responsible for a rash of air conditioner thefts during the course of several weeks in the San Rae Drive area.

The thefts occurred last fall.

Police issued a warning about the thefts to its Neighborhood Watch Program at the time.

Mosher was arrested on four felony theft warrants. He is being held in the Montgomery County Jail on $75,000 bond.
