DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Slippery conditions are to blame for a two car crash Saturday morning.

It happened in the northbound lanes of Interstate 75 under the 675 overpass after 9 a.m.

According to officials with the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the road in the area was like a sheet of ice and caused one of the drivers to lose control and collide with another vehicle.

Troopers said injuries were serious.

The victims were taken by medics to Sycamore Hospital.

Northbound 75 is down to one lane while troopers work to clear the scene.
