Cell store break-ins could be connected

cell phone store break-in

MIAMISBURG, Ohio (WDTN)- Police are investigating a cell phone store break-in and they are concerned the suspects may have already struck again.

2 NEWS has learned Miamisburg and Beavercreek officers are comparing notes after two similar break-ins over the last few days.

Early Monday morning, thieves hit the T-Mobile store on North Fairfield Road.

Miamisburg Detectives suspect that the crime could be connected to a theft that occurred in their city last week.

Surveillance video shows the three suspects throw a rock through the front door of Infinite Wireless around 3 a.m. on Friday. The men then run in and grab a lap top and cell phones.

Investigators told 2 NEWS they don’t think the men worked alone.

“A female that’s also pictured in the footage from earlier, comes in and asks about some general business practices but never purchases any items. We feel that that is sort of suspicious and she may be linked somehow to these individuals,” said Detective Jason Thelkeld.

If you have any information on either of the break-ins call Crime Stoppers 222-7867.
