WEST CARROLLTON, Ohio (WDTN)- The annual Winter Restaurant Week put on by the Miami Valley Restaurant Association is underway this week.

However, because freezing temperatures have kept many diners at home, restaurant owners told 2 NEWS there is a possibility the event could be extended.

Bill Castro, owner of El Meson said it’s something that is being discussed but, will ultimately be up to the restaurant association to decide. He expected that decision to be made by the end of the week.

Castro said he would support an extension even though business has been good. “We’ve had still a brisk business and I think it’s all to people having a little bit of cabin fever,” said Castro.
