CLEARCREEK TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WDTN) – More local law enforcement officers have planned on the road during a busy football weekend.

Its part of a statewide traffic blitz to keep all drivers safe ahead of Sunday’s big football game.  The increased patrols started at 6 p.m Friday and will run through Monday morning.

Agencies across Ohio are participating, including officers here in Clearcreek Township.   Officers said the best way to stay safe is to designate a driver or call a cab.
