2 children, adult hit by car

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN)- Three people were hit by a car while crossing a downtown Dayton street Saturday night.

Dayton Police tell 2 NEWS a group of about 8 people were walking in a crosswalk when two 7-year-old boys and a woman were hit by a white Honda that was turning left onto Monument Avenue from Patterson Boulevard.

Police say the group was headed to the Ice Skating Rink at Riverscape.

All three are expected to be okay.

One of the children was taken to Dayton’s Children Hospital with a broken leg, while the other child and the woman were treated at the scene, according to police.

Police are still investigating who had the right-of-way.

Right now, they are trying to get surveillance video from surrounding buildings.

They are asking any witnesses to please call them.
