Vigil held for Trotwood teen gunned down

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — A vigil was held Saturday for a Trotwood teen who was shot to death in Dayton.

Fifteen-year-old Deandre Lamar Choice was found gunned down in the 400 block of Westwood Avenue January 19.

Family and friends gathered Saturday afternoon at the spot his body was found to offer up prayers and remember the teen.

Dayton police are still investigating Choice’s death but believe Choice knew his killers. No arrests have yest been made.
