2 car crash shuts down a busy Dayton intersection

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – A two car crash has shut down a busy Dayton intersection Monday morning.

The accident happened around 7:15 near Riverside Drive and Hillcrest Avenue when the driver of a Pontiac Trans Am turned in front of a Lexus SUV.

The Trans Am driver swerved to avoid a collision and the car flipped on its top.

That driver was taken to a local hospital with none life threatening injuries.

The driver of the SUV was not injured.

The intersection was closed for about 90 minutes.
