Longtime Kettering judge has died

KETTERING, Ohio (WDTN) – A longtime Kettering judge has died.

Robert Moore died Saturday at Hospice of Dayton.

He spent 24 years practicing law in the Dayton area. He was elected as a judge in the Kettering Municipal Court in 1996.

He held a law degree from Ohio Northern University. He was a Chaminade Julienne and University of Dayton graduate as well.

Moore is survived by his wife of 43 years, three children and nine grandchildren.

Visitation is Friday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Church on Ackerman Boulevard in Kettering. The burial mass is Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the same church.
