The 2014 Troy Strawberry Festival will be held on the Great Miami River levee and downtown. That’s the outcome of a Feb. 3 vote by the festival committee and the Troy City Council to determine the festival location.
The 2012 festival was held in downtown Troy because of the closing of the Adams Street Bridge.
After that successful run, and the subsequent success of the Mumford & Sons concert in 2013, there was discussion about expanding the festival site.
The downtown location will be along Main Street and Market Street, including the public square and surrounding blocks.
The 2014 festival is scheduled for June 6-8.
