CINCINNATI, Ohio (WDTN) – A feature film starring actress Cate Blanchett will be shot in Cincinnati this Spring.

‘Carol’ will star Blanchett and Rooney Mara. It will be directed by Todd Haynes.

The Cincinnati Film Commission just made a call for extras on its web site.

It says 700 people will be cast as extras.

The commission is also calling for various vehicles from the 1950s that will used in the film.

The web site says the film is a love story that follows the relationship of two women in 1950s New York.

Visit the Cincinnati Film Commission online for information on how to apply.
