BELLEFONTAINE, Ohio (WDTN) – An off duty Logan County deputy faces an OVI charge after a crash.

Bellefontaine police were called to South Main Street and Saxon Drive around 9:30 Tuesday night to investigate the collision of a pickup truck and SUV.

A police report indicates that Sergeant Tony Robinson smelled of alcohol, had trouble walking and admitted to drinking earlier that day.

The report indicates Robinson refused a field sobriety test and was cited for OVI.

His attorney entered a not guilty plea Thursday in Bellefontaine Municipal Court.
