Strange odor leads police to possible meth lab

HUBER HEIGHTS, Ohio (WDTN) – Huber Heights police say they discovered a possible meth lab while on a call Thursday afternoon.

Officers were called to the 4500 block of Waynedale Circle to act as peace officers at an apartment complex.

They say they noticed suspicious materials and a strange odor when they arrived.

The fire department was called in to investigate.

Firefighters blocked off the immediate area and evacuated some residents of the apartment building.

A hazardous materials team was called in to clean up the site.
