SPRINGFIELD, Ohio (WDTN) – Two Chinese teachers visited students at Springfield High School Friday.

The teachers met with students who are studying the Chinese language.

The visiting teachers are from LiuGao High School in Liuzhou, China.

The students already knew their visitors after Skyping with them last year. This year, no messing around, they met them one-on-one.

Teachers Jenny Chen and Lisa Tang presented the school with a special banner showcasing their home city.

Springfield is in its fourth year of offering a Chinese language class. About 90 students are currently enrolled.
