DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Dayton Police are investigating after three people were robbed at gunpoint.

Officers were called to the 400 block of Lorenz Avenue just after midnight Saturday where they met with the victims.

The three people told police they went to Therapy Cafe located at 425 East Third Street. When two of them didn’t have their identifications to get into the club, they were denied entrance and walked back to their vehicle. They said they were then approached by two people. The two suspects said if the three could give them a ride to 430 Lorenz Avenue, the two suspects could get them into the club.  The three people agreed, and when they arrived at the address the two suspects got out of the vehicle, showed handguns, and robbed them.

The suspects took money, credit cards, and a cell phone from the victims.

They also took the victim’s 2004 tan Ford Explorer with Georgia license plates and fled north on Lorenz Avenue and then turned east on Hoover Avenue.

Police are still investigating. No arrests have been made. If you have any information, call Crime Stoppers at 937-222-7867.
