BELLBROOK, Ohio (WDTN) – The City of Bellbrook has a new fire chief.

Jim Neidhard was sworn in during a special ceremony Monday evening.

He previously served as deputy fire chief for Washington Township for seven years, but was with the department for 28.

Neidhard says he’s looking forward to the new role and challenge.

“It’s already a different way of doing things. It was funny opening the closet and seeing a different patch because I’ve worn the same one for so long,” said Chief Neidhard.

Neidhard replaces Chief Scott Hall who retired last month. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
