Fire burns through Miami Twp. home

MIAMI TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WDTN) – Two teens home early from school escaped a house fire in Miami Township Tuesday.

Officials told 2 NEWS when the fire broke in the living room at 4810 Delba Drive, the teens ran to neighbors for help.

When firefighters arrived just before noon, flames were visible and heavy smoke was pouring through the roof.

The fire spread to two bedrooms and into the attic before it was brought under control.

One of the teens suffered what was described as a minor burn.

Fire and smoke damage left the home unlivable.
