Motorcycle club murder goes unsolved after three years

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – It’s been more than three years since a Dayton man was gunned down while a large crowd watched and police still need your help cracking the case.

It was just about 10:00 p.m. June 13 when shots rang out outside the Bad to the Bone Motorcycle Club at 2400 West Third Street in Dayton.

Somewhere in a crowd of people, Jessie Chandler, 43, was shot and killed in the alley behind the club.

There were more than 100 people at the club that night, but after the shooting, most of them hopped on their bikes and rode away, leaving the victim behind.

“He was a father of six, stepfather, born and raised in Dayton in Townview. A lot of people know him and a lot of people loved him,” said Brandi Charles, victim’s relative.

“We need your help solving this crime. We need you to come forward and do the right thing,” said Detective Cayce Cantrell, Dayton Police Department.
