Traffic stop scores nearly a quarter ton of weed

LEBANON, Ohio (WDTN) – A traffic stop by Warren County sheriff’s deputies Tuesday turned into a major drug bust.

Deputies Andrew Grossenbaugh and Randy Asencio stopped a 2006 Chrysler Pacifica for a traffic offense on I-71 southbound near the SR 123 interchange at 1:40 a.m.

During the stop the deputies discovered 425 pounds of marijuana in the car.

Gregory Clayton, 31, of Cincinnati, and Jason Rapheal, 29, of Brooklyn, N.Y. arrested and are currently being held in the Warren County Jail.

Both are charged with drug trafficking, drug abuse, and possession of criminal tools.
