DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Traffic along Interstate 75 southbound through Dayton was slow as crews patched a hole that caused a crash.

The scene was just north of U.S. Route 35 in the construction zone.

Police say construction crews were placing down huge blocks of concrete.  One of the blocks collapsed, creating a huge hole in the highway.

They say one car hit the hole and crashed.  Another car hit it shortly after.  No one was hurt, but the left lane was shut down while crews patched the hole. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
