DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – A man who tutored and taught area students was found guilty Thursday of sending child pornography over the internet.

Prosecutors say Justin Cohen, 31, of Vandalia, was found guilty of nine counts of pandering sexually oriented material.

They say Cohen sent sexual photos of children to an undercover Troy detective in May 2013.

A search warrant then turned up numerous images of child pornography.

Cohen holds teaching certificates in Ohio and Texas. He ran a tutoring company for disadvantaged children called Reach Your Potential. He previously owned the Dayton area Quest for Success Learning Center.

Prosecutors also say he did some substitute teaching and tutoring at several school districts in the area. He also served as a volunteer in the Dayton Public Schools.

Cohen will be sentenced March 12.
