Man plows van into building after wheelchair comes loose

HUBER HEIGHTS, Ohio (WDTN) – A driver who uses a wheelchair plowed his van into the former Heat Nightclub location.

Police say the man’s wheelchair lock came loose at the driver’s seat and the wheelchair rolled to the back of his van.

The van was in drive and proceeded through the front window of the building in the 6100 block of Brandt Pike.

The driver suffered minor injuries.

Police were called to secure the empty building while it was being boarded up.
