DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Suspects strike with spray paint for a second time at a Dayton appliance store.

Pence’s Appliances on East Third Street was tagged.

A local artist was going to mask the graffiti, but the culprit struck again.

“You’re doing the same work over and over again just to try to get the work actually cleaned and finished,” said Sgt. Matt Beavers, Dayton Police Department.

“Part of the graffiti task force will have to prep it in order to do the mural. It takes down the beautification of the neighborhoods which is what they’re trying to accomplish.”

Police say four other buildings have been tagged.
