XENIA, Ohio (WDTN) – 2 NEWS Investigates has learned that the Greene County Commission’s choice for a new county administrator is currently running for office in Sandusky County.
The Sandusky County Board of Elections confirmed that Warren Brown has filed to be a candidate for county auditor there. As it stands right now, Brown would face one opponent in the May election.
2 NEWS Investigates asked Greene County Commissioner Tom Koogler if he is aware of Brown’s intentions to run for Sandusky County Auditor and he said he is. He said negotiations are going on now with Brown and he would obviously drop out of the race if he took the county administrator’s position.
Koogler said he expects Brown to be working in Greene County in April. Brown has been working as Sandusky County Administrator.
Brown would replace Howard Poston who is retiring.
