DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Snow wrecked havoc on area roadways Friday night and more snow is forecasted for this weekend.
A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for Preble, Montgomery, and Greene counties. Wayne County, Indiana is also under a Winter Weather Advisory.
Meteorologist Tara Hastings expects accumulation between one and three inches in Greene, Montgomery and Preble counties. Warren and Butler counties could see as much as three to five inches. “We should start to see snow taper off between midnight and 1:00 a.m. Saturday,” said Hastings.
“Our next chance for snow is after midnight Saturday. It looks like we’re talking about another inch on the ground by Sunday morning,” said Hastings.
The good news in all this? A warm-up is coming. In fact, we could see the 40s, maybe even the low 50s by the end of next week.
