4 arrested for stolen vehicle

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Four people are arrested after officers pull their car over and discover it was stolen.

Officers were on patrol in the area of West Third Street before 4 a.m. Saturday when they spotted a vehicle leave the All in One gas station without any taillights.

Police stopped the vehicle on James H. McGee Boulevard. That’s when dispatch advised officers the vehicle was stolen.

Police ordered everyone out of the car. They recovered a handgun as well as other clothing items that did not belong to the original owner of the car.

Ashley Bibbs, Olivia Brown, Alphonso Hughes, and Fahiym Oberry were booked into the Montgomery County Jail on receiving stolen property.

Officers also found crack cocaine on Bibbs. She was also charged with drug possession.

The car was returned to its owner.
