Cable worker robbed at gunpoint


DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Police are investigating after a cable worker was robbed at gunpoint.

The victim, who works for Precision Broadband, was in the 100 block of Cambridge Avenue around 8:30 a.m. Friday to install cable for a customer. The worker said when he as moving things around in the back of his truck, a man in a black ski mask approached him from behind, showed a gun and demanded money.

The suspect hit the victim in the face. The suspect took his cell phone and money from his wallet and then fled the scene.
