Man beaten and robbed near Masonic Temple

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) –Dayton Police are searching for two suspects they say beat and robbed a man.

Officers were called to an apartment in the 100 block of Central Avenue after 10 p.m. Thursday on reports of a robbery that occurred earlier.

When officers arrived, they spoke with the victim. He said he was walking in the area near the Masonic Temple when two men approached him. He told police the two men punched and kicked him before taking his cell phone, charger, money, shoes, and a bag of chips he was carrying.

The victim said the two suspects then ran from the scene in between houses.
