BROOKVILLE, Ohio (WDTN) – A zoning meeting Tuesday night was mostly positive about plans to move the Montgomery County Fairgrounds from downtown Dayton to Brookville.

It was a packed house at the Brookville High School auditorium.

Only one person we spoke with was against the move.  But, everyone in attendance was concerned about funding once the fairgrounds is moved.

2 NEWS was first to report the idea last summer.

The fairgrounds would move to a tract of land on Arlington Road at Interstate 70.

The Agricultural Society approved the sale of the Dayton location to Miller Valentine for $16-million dollars as long as a new site is found.
