Student stabbed at bus stop

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) -A student was stabbed while waiting bus stop Wednesday morning.

Deputies and medics were called to Imagine School on Kelpinger Road around 7:45 when the the 10-year-old boy arrived with stab wound to upper torso.

Investigators told 2 NEWS the suspect, an 11-year-old who does not usually use that stop, approached with knife and stabbed victim.

They said it appears the fight was result of an ongoing dispute between the boys, and possibly related to another fight.

The suspect was taken in for questioning and the Juvenile Justice Center has approved felonious assault charge against him.

The names of the students have not been released.

Officials said the victim’s condition non-life threatening.
