DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Dayton police are investigating a shooting after a victim stumbled into a fire station for help Wednesday afternoon.

Witnesses say the victim was shot inside his car in a parking lot in the 1900 block of Main Street.  He raced away and hit a pole at Main and Santa Clara streets, jumped out and made his way inside a fire station at Main Street and Fairview Avenue.

The victim was removed to Miami Valley Hospital for treatment of gunshot wounds to the face and hand.  His condition is not known right now, but police believe his injuries are not life threatening.
