BELLBROOK, Ohio (WDTN) – High water and flooding from Thursday night’s storm has swamped low lying areas around the Miami Valley.

One known trouble spot is SR 725 at Lower Bellbrook Road in Greene County. Earlier today the road was under water, but that has subsided to point where the road is passable.

Other flooded roads include Soldiers Home Road in West Carrollton between Farmersville-West Carrollton and Pinnacle roads, and a stretch of Manning Road, both in Montgomery County.

In Beavercreek, a portion of Factory Road is flooded.

Those who live or travel in these areas say they are used to it flooding, but Sheriff’s deputies remind that high water can appear anywhere, so be ready to have an alternate route.
