Police release fatal hit-and-run surveillance video


BELLEFONTAINE, Ohio (WDTN) – Bellefontaine Police have released surveillance video that they say shows the hit-and-run that killed a Marine this past weekend.

Police say Plank’s husband immediately ran up to her to administer CPR but her injuries were too serious. Plank died after being flown by medical helicopter to Grant Medical Center, Columbus.

Bellefontaine Police Chief Brandon Standley said Plank and her husband left 68 Grill on South Main Street shortly after midnight.

Police are still searching for the driver, who fled the scene.
