Trio charged in rash of daytime burglaries in Clark County

CLARK COUNTY, Ohio (WDTN) – Three men are now charged with a rash of daytime burglaries around Clark County.

The Clark County Sheriff’s Office says the the first arrest was made back in December when Richard Cotton, III was arrested for a burglary in Springfield Township.

After months of investigation, deputies now have Cotton and two other men in custody and charged with the crimes.

Cotton is charged with ten counts of burglary. Robert Carpenter and Jeremy Lane are both charged with receiving stolen property.

Additional charges are possible after prosecutors review the case.
