DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — A Dayton mother is behind bars after police said she left her daughter alone with a registered sex offender.
Danielle Jewell, 21, was arrested on charges of child endangering. Michael Toohey, 32, was arrested on violating a protection order.
Police were originally called to the 4400 block of Burkhardt Avenue after 4 p.m. Friday on a welfare check. According to the police report, a caller stated that Jewell left her daughter in the home alone with her boyfriend, Michael Toohey.
