Police: Springboro mom drove daughter to fight

SPRINGBORO, Ohio (WDTN) – A mother is facing charges after police say she drove her daughter to a fight and then got involved herself.

Angel Izor is charged with assault, endangering children and inciting violence.

They tell us she drove her 15-year-old daughter to Springboro Community Park Saturday to fight another 15-year-old girl.

According to the police report, Izor later got involved in the fight.  Police say so did another adult, 19 year old Scott Reed and two other juveniles.  They’re all facing charges as well.

About ten others witnessed the fights, but didn’t participate.

Police say the fight was over a Facebook post.

Officers say they see fights from time to time, but nothing like this.

“We don’t expect parents to be driving their kids to fights,” says Springboro Police Sgt. Aaron Zimmaro. “It’s not something that should happen.”

Police say a witness did take cell phone video of the fight.
