Complaints lead to drug bust in Moraine

Arrested on suspicion of drug trafficking

MORAINE, Ohio (WDTN) – Police in Moraine credit concerned neighbors with leading them to a suspected drug dealer.

In response to numerous complaints about drug activity at 2674 Cobble Circle, officers executed a search warrant at an apartment there late Monday night.

Police say they recovered large quantities of suspected heroin, cocaine, and marijuana that were packaged for sale. They also seized a large amount of money.

Michael Carlton, 31, was arrested on drug trafficking charges. Police say two children, ages six and 11, were among four others in the apartment when Carlton was arrested.

The case will be reviewed by the Montgomery County Prosecutor’s Office and police say additional charges are possible. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
