MIAMI TWP., Ohio (WDTN) – One driver was killed early Wednesday morning in an accident on I-75 near the exit ramp for SR 725.

Ohio State Highway Patrol told 2 NEWS William Ingram Jr., 38, of Moraine, Ohio was traveling southbound at a high rate of speed in the far left lane at 2:33 when he suddenly moved over in an apparent attempt to get off the highway.

The truck was driven by Karl Casey, 45, of Springfield, Ohio. Casey was not injured in the crash.

The accident remains under investigation and toxicology results to determine whether alcohol was a factor are pending.
