DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Police say the guide dog stolen from his visually impaired owner has been found and that a suspect is in custody.
Dayton Police tell 2 NEWS Diamond was in a Detective’s office until she could be reunited owner with Sheryl Williams.
The dog, Diamond, was stolen from a North Irwin Street home after being let out on a chain.
Williams told 2 NEWS she couldn’t eat or sleep since Diamond was stolen.
There is no word yet as to the suspect’s identity or what charges they may face.
