Springfield National Guard unit coming home

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio (WDTN) – 260 soldiers based out of Springfield are coming home from Kuwait.

The Ohio Army National Guard will hold a welcome home ceremony Saturday, March 1 at Springfield High School.

The 371st Sustainment Brigade left for Camp Arifjan in Kuwait in June 2013. The soldiers were in charged of mission command to three battalions. They handled postal, finance, supply and transport among other support duties.

The ceremony begins at 4:30 p.m. Springfield High School is located at 701 East Home Road in Springfield.
