MIAMI TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WDTN) – The Dayton area is getting a second Dewey’s Pizza location.
The popular pizza restaurant will open in Fall 2014 in Miami Township’s Austin Landing development.
“We’re very excited to bring Dewey’s Pizza to Austin Landing. We’ve worked to bring a second location to the Dayton market for several years,” said Chuck Lipp, COO & partner at Dewey’s Pizza, and University of Dayton graduate. “The Dayton community has been very supportive of our first location near the University of Dayton and we’re very appreciative.”
Lipp said the company is excited to be moving into Austin Landing calling it a “regional destination with unique tenants.”
“Construction documents will be submitted in March with construction expected to start in May,” Lipp said.
Dayton’s first Dewey’s Pizza opened on Brown Street near the University of Dayton Campus.
The first Dewey’s Pizza opened in Cincinnati in 1998. Now there are 17 locations across the state and in St. Louis.
