Housing development planned for Beavercreek


BEAVERCREEK, Ohio (WDTN) – There are plans for a large scale multi-family housing development in Beavercreek.

A 47-acres of land near the intersection of Shakertown and Grange Hall roads is being considered for the high-end development, the The Dayton Business Journal reports.

Redwood Acquisitions, based in the Cleveland suburb of Beachwood is the potential developer, according to plans submitted to the city.

The plan is for as many as 243 units of single-story, higher-priced rentals with private garages, swimming pools, and club houses.

Beavercreek Planning Director Jeffrey McGrath said the land will need rezoned before the project proceeds.
