House fire leads to suspected meth lab

FAIRBORN, Ohio (WDTN) – A fire that broke out inside a Fairborn home early Thursday morning has turned into a drug investigation.

Fire crews were called to the house in the 1000 block of Victoria Avenue around 12:30 a.m.

While in the house, firefighters saw items that are consistent with the manufacturing of methamphetamine, Fairborn Police told 2 NEWS.

Officers said they collected evidence from the house, but no arrests have been made.

One person that lives at the house was treated for an injury from the fire.
