Local grocer receives Pinnacle Award

BROOKVILLE, Ohio (WDTN) – The Ohio Grocers Association presented its Pinnacle Award to local grocer Bill Price.

The Pinnacle Award, based on operational excellence and significant contribution to Ohio’s food industry, is given annually to both a single-store operator and a multi-store operation.

Price owns a Save-A-Lot in Fairborn, and McMaken’s IGA in Brookville. Additionally, he and his brother Paul Price jointly own Franklin Save-A-Lot, two Save-A-Lots in Middletown, and they recently purchased a Save A Lot store in Lebanon.

The presentation took place Thursday at noon at McMaken’s IGA.
